Europe - in its attempts to peacefully unify its member nations - today faces a situation of fundamental change. Harmonising different value systems and mentalities has proven not only to be a difficult task, but it also raises new problems inside the union and at its borders.

EVA is a forum for exchange between people and organisations from Eastern and Western Europe - be it in arts, sciences, business, politics or everyday life. Our projects focus on the current tensions between Eastern and Western Europe as well as on aspects that they have in common, such as their shared history.
